Acorn Farm Psychiatric Clinic specializes in providing comprehensive care for children and adolescents with mental health conditions through the careful monitoring and adjustment of psychiatric medications. We focus on optimizing the effectiveness of medications, minimizing side effects, and making necessary adjustments over time.
Intake appointments and yearly updates take place in person at 444 Stillwater Ave. in Bangor. Follow-up appointments are either in person or over a confidential HIPPA-complaint telehealth platform.
Amanda DeLuck PMHNP-BC is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with training and experience in treating children and adolescents in inpatient, outpatient and residential settings. Amanda is committed to providing compassionate and holistic care to individuals facing mental health challenges. She specializes in assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression and mood disorders. Her approach is centered around building strong therapeutic relationships with patients and their families. Amanda is also dedicated to continuous learning and staying informed about the latest evidenced based practices to offer the best care possible.
Ursula and Uma are both certified through Alliance of Therapy Dogs and combine for over a decade of therapy dog experience. They are in the office most days providing support and spreading joy.
